আল্লাহ তায়ালার পক্ষ থেকে প্রথম বাণীটিই ছিল
-‘‘ইকরা বিইসমি রাবিবকাল্লাযি খালাক। ‘‘পড় তোমার রবের নামে, যিনি তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, পড় দিয়েই শুরু হয়েছে সর্বকালের সেরা মানুষ আমাদের প্রিয় নবী মানবতার বন্ধু মুহাম্মদ (সা.) এর মিশনের যাত্রা। আল্লাহ তায়ালা আদম থেকে শুরু করে সকল নবী এবং রাসূলদের শিক্ষার সাথে সম্পৃক্ত করেই তাদের পরিচয় তুলে ধরেছেন। আল্লাহ বলেন :
‘হে নবী! আপনাকে আমি এমন সব জ্ঞান শিক্ষা দিয়েছি যা আপনিও জানতেন না এবং আপনার পূর্বপুরুষও জানতো না।’ (৬:৯২) আল্লাহ প্রদত্ত জ্ঞানদক্ষতায় রাসূল (সা.) এতই পারদর্শিতা অর্জন করেছিলেন যে, শিক্ষা সম্প্রসারণে বিশ্বমানবতার মহান শিক্ষকরূপে তার আবির্ভাব হয়েছিল। সেজন্য রাসূল (সা.) নিজেও এ পৃথিবীতে রাষ্ট্র প্রধান, সেনাপতি কোন নামেই নিজের পরিচয় তুলে ধরেননি। বরং তিনি নিজিকে শিক্ষক হিসেবে পরিচয় দিতে এভাবে গর্ববোধ করেছেন। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন :
‘বুয়েস্ত্ত মোয়াল্লেমান’ ‘আমি মানবতার জন্য শিক্ষকরূপে প্রেরিত হয়েছি।’ আল্লাহ্পাক রাসূল করীম (সা.)-এর পরিচয় দেন এভাবে :
‘‘তিনি (আল্লাহ্) যিনি নিরক্ষর লোকদের মধ্য হতে তাদেরই একজনকে নবী হিসেবে উন্নীত করেছেন যিনি নবী-(সা.) তাদের কাছে আবৃত্তি বা পাঠ করেন তার (আল্লাহ) নিদর্শনসমূহ, তাদের পুত-পবিত্র করেন এবং শিক্ষা দেন কিতাব ও জ্ঞান; যদিও তারা পূর্বে মিথ্যা বিশ্বাসের অনুসারী ছিল।’’ [৬২:২]
মুহাম্মদ (সা.) ছিলেন একজন শিক্ষক। আল কোরআনে তাঁর শিক্ষকতার আলোচনা এসেছে এভাবে, ‘তিনি ওই সত্তা যিনি অশিক্ষিতদের মাঝে প্রেরণ করেছেন একজন রাসূল তাদেরই মধ্য থেকে। যিনি তাদের সামনে কোরআনের আয়াত তেলাওয়াত করবেন, আত্মশুদ্ধি করবেন, কোরআন ও হেকমত শিখাবেন, যদিও তারা ইতিপূর্বে সুষ্পষ্ট ভ্রান্তির মাঝে ছিলো’। (সূরা: জুমা, আয়াত: ২)
হাদিসেও রাসূল (সা.) এর শিক্ষকতার আলোচনা এসেছে। হজরত আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে আমর ইবনে আস (রা.) বলেন, রাসূল (সা.) একদিন তাঁর কোন এক কামরা থেকে বের হয়ে মসজিদে গেলেন। মসজিদে তখন দু’টি বৈঠক বসেছিলো। এক বৈঠকের লোকজন কোরআন তেলাওয়াত ও দোয়ায় লিপ্ত ছিলো। আর অন্য বৈঠকের লোকজন শিখা-শিখানোয় ব্যস্ত ছিলো। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, উভয় বৈঠকের লোকেরা কল্যাণের পথে রয়েছে। যারা তেলাওয়াত ও দোয়ায় আছে আল্লাহ তায়ালা চাইলে তাদেরকে দান করবেন বা বিরত থাকবেন। এরপর রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, আল্লাহ তায়ালা আমাকে শিক্ষক হিসেবে প্রেরণ করেছেন। এ কথা বলে তিনি শিখা-শিখানোর বৈঠকে বসে গেলেন’। (সুনানে ইবনে মাজাহ, হাদিস নম্বর: ২২০)
হযরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.) মানব রচিত কিতাব বা গ্রন্থজ্ঞান তিনি আহরণ করেননি। মানব রচিত গ্রন্থের শিক্ষা অর্জন না করার ফলে তিনি কোন লেখক বা গ্রন্থকারের মতবাদ দ্বারা পক্ষপাতদুষ্ট হওয়া থেকে ছিলেন পাক ও পবিত্র। রাসূল (সা.) শিক্ষকসুলভ আচরণের মাধ্যমে আরবদের মাঝে লুক্কায়িত সুপ্ত প্রতিভাকে বিকশিত করে জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানের আলোয় আলোকিত করার কর্মসূচিতে অভাবনীয় সাফল্য অর্জন করেছিলেন । শুধু তাই নয় তিনি মানবকুলের শ্রেষ্ঠ সম্পদ হিসেবে জ্ঞান কেই আখ্যায়িত করলেন। আল্লাহ্ বলেন :
‘‘কুল, রাববী জ্বিদ্নী ইলমা’’, বল, হে রব আমার, আমার জ্ঞান বৃদ্ধি কর।’’
কুরআনের বাণী:‘যাকে জ্ঞান-প্রজ্ঞায় সমৃদ্ধ করা হয়েছে তাকে মহাকল্যাণে ভূষিত করা হয়েছে।’ (২:২৬৯) ‘যে ব্যক্তি জ্ঞান রাখে আর যে জ্ঞান রাখে না তারা উভয় কি সমান হতে পারে?’ (সূরা জুমার : ৯) রাসূল (সা.)-এর হাদিসেও আমরা দেখতে পাই ‘জ্ঞানান্বেষণ করা প্রত্যেক নর-নারীর ওপর ফরজ হিসেবে বিবেচ্য।’ তিনি জ্ঞানান্বেষণে যুক্ত হতে এত বেশি অনুপ্রেরণা জুগিয়েছিলেন যে তাঁর বাণী শিক্ষাদর্শনের কালোত্তীর্ণ উপমারূপে গণ্য হয়েছে। তিনি আরো বলেছেন : ‘রাতের কিছু সময় জ্ঞানের অনুশীলন করা সারারাত জাগ্রত থেকে ইবাদত করার চেয়েও উত্তম।’ এভাবেই তিনি নিরক্ষরতামুক্ত সমাজ গঠন, শিক্ষা ও জ্ঞানদক্ষতার উন্নয়নের ধারণা গোটা মানব জাতির সামনে তুলে ধরে শিক্ষার মৌলিক নীতিমালা পেশ করেন।
মূলত রাসূল (সা.) এর শিক্ষানীতিতে গোটা মানব জাতির পাঠক্রম হচ্ছে আল–কুরআন এবং এর ভিত্তিতে পাঠ্যসূচি বা রাসূলের জীবন ও কর্ম–পদ্ধতি। মহান স্রষ্টা আল্লাহ্ তা’আলা এই মহান শিক্ষকের জন্য উপহার স্বরূপ প্রদান করেন মহাগ্রন্থ ‘আল-কুরআন’। আল্লাহ তায়ালা মানব জাতিকে কে কোন একাডেমিক শিক্ষা দেয়ার জন্য রাসূল (সা.)কে এ পৃথিবীতে পাঠাননি। একথা নিঃসন্দেহে বলা যায় যে, শিক্ষার জন্ম ও এর সার্বিক প্রসারে একমাত্র ইসলাম ছাড়া আর কোন মতবাদ বা ধর্মে অনুরূপ কোন ধারণাই ছিল না। বরং শিক্ষা সংক্রান্ত সব মতবাদ প্রকৃতপক্ষে ইসলামের শিক্ষা হতেই প্রণীত। জাহিলিয়াতের যুগে এ কাবা শরীফই ছিল শিক্ষা-সাহিত্য ও সংস্কৃতির পীঠস্থান। অধ্যাপক পি. কে. হিট্টির কথায়:ুThe fair of Ukaz stood in pre-Islamic days for a kind of academic franchise of Arabia.”
অনেকের মতে রাসূল (সা.) তাঁর নবুয়্যতের অতি শৈশব অবস্থায় মক্কা নগরীতে ঐতিহাসিক সাফা পর্বতের পাদদেশে ‘দারুল আরকাম’ নামেও একটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের সূচনা করেন। বেসরকারি উদ্যোগে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এটিই ইতিহাসের সর্বপ্রথম শিক্ষালয়। আজকের বেসরকারি উদ্যোগে প্রতিষ্ঠিত শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের ধারণা আধুনিক পৃথিবী এখান থেকেই লাভ করেছে। এ স্থানে তিনি তাঁর নবদীক্ষেত শিষ্যদেরকে গোপনে নামায ও সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়াদি শিক্ষা দিতেন। পরে তিনি মদীনা শরীফে হিজরত করে ‘কুববা’ নামক স্থানে সর্বপ্রথম একটি ক্ষুদ্র মসজিদ স্বহসেত্ম স্থাপন করেন ও পরে তিনি মদীনায় মসজিদে নববী প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। রাসূল (সা.) আসরের নামাযের পরেই অধিকাংশ সময় ও মসজিদে শিক্ষাদানে ব্রত থাকতেন। লক্ষ্যণীয়, নারীদের মধ্যে শিক্ষা দান ও প্রচারের জন্য তিনি সপ্তাহের একটি দিনও ধার্য করে রেখেছিলেন। সে দিনটিতে মহিলাগণ নির্ধারিত কক্ষে জমায়েত হয়ে আল-কুরআনের অমিয় শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করতেন। রাসূলুল্লাহর (সা.) সহধর্মীনি ও সিদ্দিক নন্দিনী হযরত আয়েশা (রা.) সহ অনেকেই নারী শিক্ষার উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেন। নারীর ব্যক্তিসত্তার পরিচর্যা, আত্মিক উন্নয়ন ও নৈতিক গুণাবলীর উৎকর্ষ সাধনের জন্য নবী (স) পুঁথিগত বিদ্যার বাইরেও তিনি জ্ঞানার্জনের পরামর্শ দিতেন। হযরত আনাস (রা.) হতে বর্ণিত আছে যে, ২রা হিজরীতে (৬২৩ খ্রিস্টাব্দে) মাকরামাহ ইবনে নাওফেল নামক জনৈক আনসারের গৃহে ‘দারুল কারবাহ’ নামে একটি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান ছিল। এ প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ছিল আবাসিক ধরনের। সাহাবীগণ তাঁর গৃহে থেকে জ্ঞানার্জন করতেন।
এভাবে মদিনার আবু উসামা বিন যুবায়ের (রা) বাড়িতে একটি শিক্ষালয় প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। হযরত মুসআব বিন উমায়ের (রা.) কে রাসূল (সা.) এ প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক ও তত্ত্বাবধায়ক হিসেবে নিযুক্ত করেন। আর এটিই মদিনায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত সর্বপ্রথম শিক্ষালয় । মদিনায় দ্বিতীয় শিক্ষালয়টি হচ্ছে হযরত আবু আইউব আনসারী (রা.) এর ব্যক্তিগত বাসভবন। আনসারীর (রা.) এই ভবনে রাসূল (সা.) দীর্ঘ আট মাস শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করেন। শিক্ষার আলো মানুষের দোরগোড়ায় পৌঁছে দিতে রাসূল (সা.) এভাবে আলোকিত মানুষকে নিয়ে আলোকিত সমাজ গড়ার দৃপ্ত শপথ নেন। সাহাবীগণ কুরআন শরীফের আয়াত মুখস্থ করার জন্য তিনি তিনবার আবৃত্তি করতেন। আল-কুরআন শিক্ষা করা ছাড়াও সাহাবীগণ ধর্মীয় বিধান (rituals), কারুময় হস্তলিপি (calliography), বংশ ইতিহাস (geneology), ঘোড়দৌড়, বিদেশি ভাষা ও তীর নিক্ষেপ শিক্ষা করতেন। একযোগে দ্বীন ও দুনিয়ার শিক্ষা প্রদানের পদ্ধতি ও প্রয়োগ আল্লাহর রাসূল (সা.) এভাবে প্রচলিত করেন। রাসূল করীম (সা.)-এর জীবদ্দশায় ৯টি মসজিদ মদীনায় ছিল। এসব মসজিদে মদীনাও এর নিকটবর্তী অঞ্চলের ছেলেমেয়েরা শিক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য সমবেত হতো। আধুনিক শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতির মত তখন ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ও বেতনের দ্বারা শিক্ষার দ্বার সংকুচিত ছিল না। মসজিদ ছিল তখন একটি উন্মুক্ত বিদ্যালয়, যা হতে বর্তমান বিশ্ব Open University- এবং আবাসিক হলের এর ধারণা লাভ করেছে। শিক্ষাদানের বহু প্রজ্ঞাময় ও জ্ঞানী সাহাবী তখন ছিলেন শিক্ষকতায় নিবেদিত। তাঁদেরকে ঘিরে রাখতেন ছাত্রগণ মৌমাছির মত।
দূরবর্তী মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের একত্রিত করে কেন্দ্রীয়ভাবে প্রশিক্ষণের ব্যবস্থা করতেন। যারা প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করে উন্নত পাঠদানে পারদর্শী হতেন এদের থেকে নির্বাচন করে গ্রুপ ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন এলাকার শিক্ষাকার্যক্রম পরিচালনার জন্য প্রেরণ করতেন। হিজরী ১১ সনে হযরত মুআয বিন জাবাল (রা.) কে ইয়ামেনের গভর্নর করে পাঠান। সেখানকার প্রাথমিক শিক্ষাব্যবস্থার চিত্র পরিদর্শন করা এবং বিভিন্ন অঙ্গনের শিক্ষাবিষয়ক সমস্যাগুলো সমাধানের নিমিত্তে তিনি দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সাহাবী ছিলেন।
বলা যায় সারা বিশ্বব্যাপী একটি নিরক্ষরতা মুক্ত সমাজ গঠনে রাসূল (সা.) এর এই ঐতিহাসিক ভূমিকা ছিল
রাসূল (সা.) পত্র সাহিত্যের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা প্রসারে ও নিরক্ষরতা দূরীকরণে যে নবধারা সৃষ্টি করেছিলেন তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ বিশ্বব্যাপী উন্মুক্ত ও দূরশিক্ষার আইডিয়া লাভ করেছে। পত্রের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা প্রসারের একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য হাদীস হচ্ছে-‘নবী (সা.) সিরিয়ার সেনাপ্রধানের হাতে পত্র দিয়ে বললেন, তুমি নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছার পূর্বে এ পত্রটি পড়বে না। তোমার বাহিনীর জন্য এ পত্রে কিছু শিক্ষণীয় বিষয় আছে। নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছে সেনাপ্রধান পত্রটি খুললেন’। (বুখারী, পৃ. ১৫) তৎকালীন পারস্য সম্রাট পারভেজ বিন হুরমুয বিন নৌশিরাওয়াঁর কাছে আল্লাহর একাত্ববাদে বিশ্বাস ও সত্য জ্ঞান উপলব্ধি করার আহবান জানানো হয়। হাদীসে এসেছে :‘রাসূল (সা.) এক ব্যক্তির হাতে পত্র দিয়ে বললেন, সে যেন পত্রটি পারস্য সম্রাট কর্তৃক নিয়োজিত বাহরাইনের গভর্নরের কাছে পৌঁছে দেয়। তিনি তার কথামত পত্রটি তার হাতে পৌঁছে দেন’। (বুখারী, পৃ. ১৫) এভাবে পত্রালাপ বা চিঠিপত্রের মাধ্যমে রাসূল (সা.) শিক্ষার আলো বিস্তারে সদা সচেষ্ট ছিলেন।
আমরা রাসূল (সা.) এর শিক্ষানীতি ও শিক্ষাব্যবস্থার পূনাঈ ধারনা লাভ করতে পারি আসহাবে সুফহার ৭০ জন সাহাবীর সমষ্টির নিকট থেকে। তাঁরা কৃচ্ছ্রতা সাধন ও জ্ঞান পিপাসা নিবৃত্তির জন্য যে ত্যাগ ও কুরবানীর নজীর রেখে গেছেন তা বিশ্বের প্রলয়দিন পর্যন্ত সমুজ্জ্বল আদর্শ হয়ে থাকবে। তাঁরা দিনের বেলায় জঙ্গলে কাঠ কাটতেন জীবিকা নির্বাহের জন্য, আর রাতভর ইবাদত করতেন আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের নিমিত্তে। অনাগত জ্ঞান পিপাসু নতুন প্রজন্মমের জন্য এর থেকে বড় দৃষ্টান্ত এখনো অনাবিষ্কৃত।
তাই বলা যেতে পারে পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে সর্বকালের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ মহামানব আমাদের প্রিয় নবী মানবতার বন্ধু মুহাম্মদ (সা.)-এর শিক্ষানীতি,ছা্ত্র-শিক্ষক সম্পর্ক, চিন্তা ও কর্মময় জীবনকীর্তি ও অবদান আমাদের জন্য অবিস্মরণীয় ও অনুকরণীয় আদর্শ হয়ে থাকবে। শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে সর্বোচ্চ সাফল্যের জন্য সর্বোত্তম শিক্ষকের শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করতে হবে। নিম্নে রাসূল (সা.)-এর অনুসৃত কয়েকটি শিক্ষাপদ্ধতি তুলে ধরা হলো-
উপযুক্ত পরিবেশে শিক্ষাদান :
শিক্ষাদানের জন্য উপযুক্ত পরিবেশ অপরিহার্য। কোলাহলপূর্ণ বিশৃঙ্খল পরিবেশ শিক্ষার বিষয় ও শিক্ষক উভয়ের গুরুত্ব কমিয়ে দেয়। রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) শিক্ষাদানের জন্য উপযুক্ত পরিবেশের অপেক্ষা করতেন। হজরত জারির ইবনে আবদুল্লাহ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। ‘নিশ্চয় বিদায় হজের সময় রাসূল (সা.) তাকে বলেন, মানুষকে চুপ করতে বল। অতপর তিনি বলেন, আমার পর তোমরা কুফরিতে ফিরে যেয়ো না ……। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৭০৮০
অর্থাৎ রাসূল (সা.) শ্রোতা ও শিক্ষার্থীদের শারীরিক ও মানসিকভাবে স্থির হওয়ার এবং মনোসংযোগ স্থাপনের সুযোগ দিতেন। অতপর উপযুক্ত পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি হলে শিক্ষাদান শুরু করতেন।
থেমে থেমে পাঠদান :
রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) পাঠদানের সময় থেমে থেমে কথা বলতেন। যেনো তা গ্রহণ করা শ্রোতা ও শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য সহজ হয়। খুব দ্রুত কথা বলতেন না যেনো শিক্ষার্থীরা ঠিক বুঝে উঠতে না পারে আবার এতো ধীরেও বলতেন না যাতে কথার ছন্দ হারিয়ে যায়। বরং তিনি মধ্যম গতিতে থেমে থেমে পাঠ দান করতেন। হজরত আবু বাকরাহ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, ‘তোমরা কী জানো- আজ কোন দিন? …এটি কোন মাস? …এটি কী জিলহজ নয়? …এটি কোন শহর?’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ১৭৪১
প্রতিটি প্রশ্নের পর রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) চুপ থাকেন এবং সাহাবারা উত্তর দেন আল্লাহ ও তার রাসূল ভালো জানেন।
ভাষা ও দেহভাষার সমন্বয় :
রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) কোনো বিষয়ে আলোচনা করলে, তার দেহাবয়বেও তার প্রভাব প্রতিফলিত হতো। তিনি দেহ-মনের সমন্বিত ভাষায় পাঠ দান করতেন। কারণ, এতে বিষয়ের গুরুত্ব, মাহাত্ম্য ও প্রকৃতি সম্পর্কে শ্রোতা শিক্ষার্থীগণ সঠিক ধারণা লাভে সক্ষম হয় এবং বিষয়টি তার অন্তরে গেঁথে যায়। যেমন, তিনি যখন জান্নাতের কথা বলতেন, তখন তার দেহে আনন্দের স্ফূরণ দেখা যেতো। জাহান্নামের কথা বললে ভয়ে চেহারার রঙ বদলে যেতো। যখন কোনো অন্যায় ও অবিচার সম্পর্কে বলতেন, তার চেহারায় ক্রোধ প্রকাশ পেতো এবং কণ্ঠস্বর উঁচু হয়ে যেতো। হজরত জাবের ইবনে আবদুল্লাহ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘রাসূল (সা.) যখন বক্তব্য দিতেন- তার চোখ লাল হয়ে যেতো, আওয়াজ উঁচু হতো এবং ক্রোধ বৃদ্ধি পেতো। যেনো তিনি (শত্রু) সেনা সম্পর্কে সতর্ককারী। ’ -সহিহ মুসলিম : ৪৩
গল্প বলার মিষ্টি ভঙ্গি :
গল্প-ইতিহাস জ্ঞানের সমৃদ্ধ এক ভাণ্ডার। শিক্ষার প্রয়োজনে শিক্ষককে অনেক সময় গল্প-ইতিহাস বলতে হয়। রাসূল (সা.) ও পাঠদানের সময় গল্প বলতেন। তিনি গল্প বলতেন অত্যন্ত মিষ্টি করে। এমন মিষ্টি ভঙ্গি গল্প-ইতিহাস স্বপ্রাণ হয়ে উঠতো। জীবন্ত হয়ে উঠতো শ্রোতা-শিক্ষার্থীর সামনে। হজরত আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) ইরশাদ করেন, ‘দোলনায় কথা বলেছে তিনজন। হজরত ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম (আ.) …। হজরত আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) বলেন, আমি (মুগ্ধ হয়ে) রাসূল (সা.)-এর দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকলাম। তিনি আমাকে শিশুদের কাজ সম্পর্কে বলছিলেন। তিনি তার মুখে আঙুল রাখলেন। এবং তাতে চুমু খেলেন। ’ -মুসনাদে আহমদ : ৮০৭১
অর্থাৎ তিনি শিশুদের মতো ঠোঁট গোল করে তাতে আঙুল ঠেকালেন।

রাসূল (সা.) পাঠদানের সময় শিক্ষার্থীদের নিকট প্রশ্ন করতেন। যেনো তারা প্রশ্ন করতে এবং তার উত্তর খুঁজতে অভ্যস্ত হয়। কেননা নিত্যনতুন প্রশ্ন শিক্ষার্থীকে নিত্যনতুন জ্ঞান অনুসন্ধানে উৎসাহী করে। হজরত মুয়াজ ইবনে জাবাল (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) জিজ্ঞেস করেন, হে মুয়াজ! তুমি কী জানো বান্দার নিকট আল্লাহর অধিকার কী? তিনি বলেন, আল্লাহ ও তার রাসূল ভালো জানেন। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, তার ইবাদত করা এবং তার সঙ্গে কোনো কিছুকে শরিক না করা। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৭৩৭৩
বিষয়বস্তুর গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করা :
বিষয়বস্তুর গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে ধারণা থাকলে শিক্ষার্থী শ্রেণী কক্ষে অনেক বেশি মনোযোগী হয়। একাগ্র হয়ে শিক্ষকের আলোচনা শোনে। রাসূল (সা.) পাঠদানের সময় বিষয়বস্তুর গুরুত্ব ফুটিয়ে তুলতেন। হজরত সাঈদ ইবনে মুয়াল্লা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূল (সা.) তাকে বলেন, ‘মসজিদ থেকে বের হওয়ার পূর্বে আমি তোমাদেরকে কোরআনের সবচেয়ে মহান সূরাটি শিক্ষা দেবো। তিনি বলেন, আমি যখন বের হওয়ার ইচ্ছে করলাম রাসূল (সা.) আমার হাত ধরে বললেন, তোমাকে বলিনি! মসজিদ থেকে বের হওয়ার আগে তোমাকে কোরআনে সবচেয়ে মহান সূরা শিক্ষা দেবো। অতপর তিনি বলেন, আলহামদুলিল্লাহি রাব্বিল আলামিন। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৪৪৭৪
অর্থাৎ রাসূল (সা.) তাকে সূরা ফাতেহা শিক্ষা দেন।
আগ্রহী শিক্ষার্থী নির্বাচন :
রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) বিশেষ বিশেষ শিক্ষাদানের জন্য আগ্রহী শিক্ষার্থী নির্বাচন করতেন। যেনো শেখানো বিষয়টি দ্রুত ও ভালোভাবে বাস্তবায়িত হয়। হজরত আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, আমার উম্মতের মধ্য থেকে কে পাঁচটি গুণ ধারণ করবে এবং তার ওপর আমল করবে? তিনি বলেন, আমি বলি, আমি হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! তখন তিনি আমার হাত ধরলেন এবং হাতে পাঁচটি বিষয় গণনা করলেন। -মুসনাদে আহমদ : ৮০৯৫
উপমা দিয়ে বোঝানো :
নবী করিম (সা.) অনেক সময় কোনো বিষয় স্পষ্ট করার জন্য উপমা ও উদাহরণ পেশ করতেন। কেননা উপমা ও উদাহরণ দিলে যে কোনো বিষয় বোঝা সহজ হয়ে যায়। হজরত সাহাল ইবনে সাদ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন রাসূল (সা.) ইরশাদ করেছেন, ‘আমি ও এতিমের দায়িত্ব গ্রহণকারী জান্নাতে এমনভাবে অবস্থান করবো। হজরত সাহাল (রা.) বলেন, রাসূল (সা.) তার শাহাদত ও মধ্যমা আঙুলের প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করেন। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৬০০৫
শিক্ষার্থীর প্রশ্নগ্রহণ এবং প্রশ্নের জন্য প্রসংশা করা :
শ্রেণীকক্ষে শিক্ষকের আলোচনা শুনে শিক্ষার্থীর মনে প্রশ্ন জাগতে পারে। এসব প্রশ্নের সমাধান না পেলে অনেক সময় পুরো বিষয়টিই শিক্ষার্থীর নিকট অস্পষ্ট থেকে যায়। সে পাঠের পাঠোদ্ধার করতে পারে না। আর প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিলে বিষয়টি যেমন স্পষ্ট হয়, তেমনি শিক্ষার্থী জ্ঞানার্জনে আরো আগ্রহী হয়। রাসূল (সা.) শিক্ষাদানের সময় শিক্ষার্থীর প্রশ্ন গ্রহণ করতেন এবং প্রশ্ন করার জন্য কখনো কখনো প্রশ্নকারীর প্রসংশাও করতেন। হজরত আবু আইয়ুব আনসারি (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। ‘এক ব্যক্তি রাসূল (সা.) কে প্রশ্ন করে, আমাকে বলুন! কোন জিনিস আমাকে জান্নাতের নিকটবর্তী করে দিবে এবং কোন জিনিস জাহান্নাম থেকে দূরে সড়িয়ে নিবে। নবী করিম (সা.) থামলেন এবং তার সাহাবাদের দিকে তাকালেন। অতপর বললেন, তাকে তওফিক দেওয়া হয়েছে বা তাকে হেদায়েত দেওয়া হয়েছে। ’ –সহিহ মুসলিম : ১২
লক্ষ্যণীয় বিষয় হলো, রাসূল (সা.) প্রশ্নটি শুনেই সঙ্গে সঙ্গে উত্তর দেননি। বরং তিনি চুপ থাকেন এবং সাহাবিদের দিকে তাকিয়ে তাদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করেন এবং প্রশ্নকারীর প্রশংসা করেন। যাতে প্রশ্নটির ব্যাপারে সকলের মনোযোগ সৃষ্টি হয় এবং সকলেই উপকৃত হতে পারে।
আমলের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষাদান :
শিক্ষার সবচেয়ে কার্যকর মাধ্যম হলো প্রাক্টিক্যাল বা প্রয়োগিক শিক্ষা। রাসূল (সা.) অধিকাংশ বিষয় নিজে আমল করে সাহাবিদের শেখাতেন। শেখাতেন হাতে-কলমে। এজন্য হজরত আয়েশা (রা.) বলেন, তার চারিত্রিক বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো কোরআন। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, ‘তোমরা নামাজ আদায় কর, যেমন আমাকে আদায় করতে দেখো। ’ -সুনানে বায়হাকি : ৩৬৭২
বিবেকের মুখোমুখি করা :
বিবেক মানুষের বড় রক্ষক। বিবেক জাগ্রত থাকলে মানুষ নানা অপরাধ থেকে বেঁচে যায় এবং বিবেকলুপ্ত হলে অপরাধে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। তাই মানুষকে সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করার একটি সহজ উপায় হলো- মানুষের বিবেক ও মনুষ্যত্ব জাগিয়ে তোলা। রাসূল (সা.) বিবেক ও মনুষ্যত্ব জাগিয়ে তোলার মাধ্যমেও মানুষকে শিক্ষাদান করেছেন। যেমন- এক যুবক রাসূল (সা.) কে বললো। হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমাকে ব্যভিচারের অনুমতি দিন। তার কথা শুনে উপস্থিত লোকেরা মারমুখি হয়ে উঠলো এবং তিরস্কার করলো। রাসূল (সা.) তাকে কাছে ডেকে নিলেন এবং বললেন, তুমি কী তোমার মায়ের ব্যাপারে এমনটি পছন্দ কর? সে বললো, আল্লাহর শপথ না। আল্লাহ আমাকে আপনার জন্য উৎসর্গিত করুন। রাসূল (সা.) বললেন, কেউ তার মায়ের ব্যাপারে এমন পছন্দ করে না। এরপর রাসূল (সা.) একে একে তার সব নিকট নারী আত্মীয়ের কথা উল্লেখ করেন এবং সে না উত্তর দেয়। এভাবে রাসূল (সা.) তার বিবেক জাগ্রত করে তোলেন। -মুসনাদে আহমদ : ২২২১১
রেখাচিত্রের সাহায্যে স্পষ্ট করা :
কখনো কখনো কোনো বিষয়কে স্পষ্ট করার জন্য রাসূল (সা.) রেখাচিত্র ও অঙ্কনের সাহায্য নিতেন। যেনো শ্রোতা ও শিক্ষার্থীর স্মৃতিতে তা রেখাপাত করে। হজরত আবু মাসউদ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘রাসূল (সা.) একটি চারকোণা দাগ দিলেন। তার মাঝ বরাবর দাগ দিলেন। যা তা থেকে বের হয়ে গেছে। বের হয়ে যাওয়া দাগটির পাশে এবং চতুষ্কোণের ভেতরে ছোট ছোট কিছু দাগ দিলেন। তিনি বললেন, এটি মানুষ। চতুষ্কোণের ভেতরের অংশ তার জীবন এবং দাগের যে অংশ বের হয়ে গেছে সেটি তার আশা। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৬৪১৭
এভাবে রাসূল (সা.) রেখাচিত্রের সাহায্যে মানুষের জীবন ও জীবনের সীমাবদ্ধতার বিষয় স্পষ্ট করে তুললেন।
বার বার পাঠে উদ্বুদ্ধকরণ :
রাসূলে আকরাম (সা.) শিক্ষার্থীদের মেধা ও স্মৃতিশক্তির ওপর নির্ভর না করে বার বার পাঠ করতে উদ্বুদ্ধ করতেন; বরং বার বার পাঠ করে কঠিন বিষয়কে আয়ত্ব করতে বলতেন। হজরত আবু আইয়ুব আনসারি (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, ‘তোমরা কোরআনের ব্যাপারে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ হও। সেই সত্ত্বার শপথ যার হাতে আমার জীবন তা উটের চেয়ে দ্রুত স্মৃতি থেকে পলায়ন করে। ’ –সহিহ বোখারি : ৫০৩৩
আশা ও ভয়ের মাধ্যমে সচেতনতা সৃষ্টি :
রাসূলে আকরাম (সা.) শ্রোতা ও শিক্ষার্থীদের অনাগত জীবন সম্পর্কে যেমন আশাবাদী করে তুলতেন, তেমনি তার চ্যালেঞ্জ ও সমস্যা সম্পর্কে সচেতন করে তুলতেন। যেমন- হজরত আনাস (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘রাসূল (সা.) একটি ভাষণ দিলেন। আমি এমন ভাষণ আর শুনিনি। তিনি বলেন, আমি যা জানি তা যদি তোমরা জানতে তবে অল্প হাসতে এবং বেশি কাঁদতে। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৪৬২১
হজরত আবু জর গিফারি (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, যে ব্যক্তি ‘লা ইলাহা ইল্লাহ’ বললো এবং তার ওপর মৃত্যুবরণ করলো, তবে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে। আমি বললাম, যদি সে ব্যভিচার করে এবং চুরি করে? রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, হ্যাঁ। যদি সে ব্যভিচার করে এবং চুরি করে। ’ -সহিহ বোখারি : ৫৪২৭
মুক্ত আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষাদান :
মুক্ত আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে বহু জটিল ও দুর্বোধ্য বিষয় সহজ হয়ে যায় এবং উত্তম সমাধান পাওয়া যায়। রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) ও বহু বিষয় মুক্ত আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষাদান করতেন। সমাধান বের করতেন। যেমন, হুনায়নের যুদ্ধের যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদ বণ্টন নিয়ে আনসার সাহাবায়ে কেরামের মাঝে অসন্তোষ দেখা দিলে রাসূল (সা.) তাদের সঙ্গে মুক্ত আলোচনা করেন। একইভাবে বদর যুদ্ধের বন্দিদের ব্যাপারে সাহাবিদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করেন। -সহিহ বোখারি ও মুসলিম
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কথার পুনরাবৃত্তি :
রাসূল (সা.) তার পাঠদানের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ তিন বার পর্যন্ত পুনরাবৃত্তি করতেন। হজরত আনাস ইবনে মালেক (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘রাসূল (সা.) তার কথাকে তিনবার পুনরাবৃত্তি করতেন যেনো তা ভালোভাবে বোঝা যায়। ’ -শামায়েলে তিরমিজি : ২২২
ভুল সংশোধনের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষাদান :
রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) ভুল সংশোধনের মাধ্যমে শ্রোতা ও শিক্ষার্থীদের শিক্ষা দিতেন। হজরত আবু মাসউদ আনসারি (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত। এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.)-এর নিকট অভিযোগ করে যে, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমি নামাজে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারি না। কারণ অমুক ব্যক্তি নামাজ দীর্ঘায়িত করে ফেলে। আমি উপদেশ বক্তৃতায় রাসূল (সা.) কে সেদিনের তুলনায় আর কোনোদিন বেশি রাগ হতে দেখিনি। রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, ‘হে লোক সকল! নিশ্চয় তোমরা অনীহা সৃষ্টিকারী। সুতরাং যে মানুষ নিয়ে (জামাতে) নামাজ আদায় করবে, সে তা যেনো হাল্কা করে (দীর্ঘ না করে)। কেননা তাদের মধ্যে অসুস্থ্য, দুর্বল ও জুল-হাজাহ (ব্যস্ত) মানুষ রয়েছে। -সহিহ বোখারি : ৯০
শিক্ষাদানের ক্ষেত্রে তিনি পিতার ন্যায় স্নেশীল ও দয়াশীল হতেন:
রাসূল (সা.) এর শিক্ষকতার অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট্য ছিলো, তিনি ছাত্রদের সামনে বিনয়ী হতেন। তাদের প্রতি স্নেশীল থাকতেন। তা বুঝানোর জন্যই রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, আমি হচ্ছি তোমাদের সামনে পুত্রের জন্য পিতার ন্যায়। তাই আমি তোমাদের শেখাবো। (সুনানে তিরমিজি) এখানে পিতার সঙ্গে শিক্ষকের তুলনা সম্মানের দিক থেকে তিনি করেননি। বরং করেছেন দয়া ও স্নেহের দিক থেকে।
রাসূল (সা.) ছাত্রের আকল ও বুঝ অনুযায়ী শিক্ষাপদ্ধতি অবলম্বণ করতেন:
রাসূল (সা.) শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রত্যেকের বুঝ ও আকলের প্রতি খুব খেয়াল করতেন। এবং সে অনুযায়ী তিনি শিক্ষার্থীকে শিক্ষা দিতেন। তিনি ছোটদের মন-মেজাজের প্রতি সদা সতর্ক থাকতেন। তাদের সামনে ওই বিষয়ের আলোচনা ওঠাতেন না, যা সর্বোচ্চ স্তরের শিক্ষার্থীদের সামনে আলোচনার যোগ্য। ছাত্রদের অবস্থা বিবেচনা করে তাঁর শিক্ষা দেয়ার চেষ্টা প্রসঙ্গে এসেছে, ‘মজলিসে এক যুবক রাসূল (সা.)-কে প্রশ্ন করেন, রোজা রেখে স্ত্রীকে চুমু দেয়া যাবে? রাসূল তাকে নিষেধ করেন। ওই মজলিসেই এক বৃদ্ধ তাঁকে একই প্রশ্ন করেন। তখন তিনি বলেন, হ্যাঁ, রোজা রেখে স্ত্রীকে চুমু দেয়া যাবে। তখন তারা পরস্পর চোখাচোখি শুরু করে। তখন রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, আমি তাকে অনুমতি দিয়েছি। কারণ, সে বৃদ্ধ। নিজের ওপর নিয়ন্ত্রন করতে পারবে। আর তুমি যুবক। নিজেকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারবে না।’ (মুসনাদে আহমদ)
সাহাবায়ে কেরাম রাসূল (সা.) এর কাছে এসে উপদেশ নিতেন। রাসূল (সা.) প্রত্যেককে আলাদা আলাদা উপদেশ দিতেন। যেমন: একজন সাহাবি এসে নবী করিম (সা.) এর কাছে জিহাদের বাইয়াত হতে চান। রাসূল (সা.) তাকে বলেন, তোমার পিতা-মাতা আছে? যদি থেকে থাকেন তাহলে গিয়ে তাদের সেবা করো’। অথচ অন্যরা রাসূল (সা.) এর কাছে এসে উপদেশ চাইলে তিনি বলতেন, মুক্তির জন্য জিহাদে বের হও।
ছাত্রদের মেধাশক্তি খোলার জন্য বিভিন্ন প্রশ্ন করা:
কখনো কখনো রাসূল (সা.) নিজে জানা সত্তেও বাচ্চাদের সামনে নানা বিষয়ে প্রশ্ন ওঠাতেন। এবং তাদের থেকে উত্তর জানতে চাইতেন। উদ্দেশ্য হতো তাদের ভেতর জানার কৌতূহল জাগানো। যেমন হজরত আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে ওমর (রা.) বলেন, একদিন আমরা রাসূল (সা.) এর সামনে বসা ছিলাম। খেজুরের ভেতরের একটা অংশ নিয়ে আসা হলো, যা খাওয়া যায়। রাসূল (সা.) তা খেতে আরম্ভ করলেন। এবং সবার সামনে প্রশ্ন করলেন, একটা সবুজ গাছ আছে, যার বরকত মুসলমানের ন্যায়। যে গাছের পাতা কখনো শুকায় না এবং ঝরেও পড়ে না। সর্বদা ফল দেয়। তোমরা বলো তো ওই গাছ কোনটি? তখন প্রত্যেকে বিভিন্ন উত্তর দেয়া শুরু করলো। ইবনে ওমর বলেন, আমার মনে হচ্ছিলো ওই গাছ হচ্ছে খেজুর গাছ। তাই আমি বলতে চাচ্ছিলাম। কিন্তু সেখানে অনেক বয়স্ক লোকও ছিলো। আর আমি ছিলাম বাচ্চা’। সর্বশেষ ইবনে ওমরের ধারণাই সঠিক হলো। কেউ বলতে না পারায় রাসুল (সা.) নিজেই বলে দিলেন সেটা হচ্ছে খেজুর গাছ’। (সহিহ বুখারি)
বিভিন্ন প্রশ্নের জবাব ছাত্রদের ওপর ছেড়ে দিয়ে তাদের প্রশিক্ষণের ব্যবস্থা করা:
রাসূল (সা.) এর কাছে যত প্রশ্ন আসতো তিনি নিজে সব ক’টির উত্তর দিতেন না। কোনো কোনোটির উত্তর দেয়ার দায়িত্ব ছাত্রদের ওপর ছেড়ে দিতেন। উদ্দেশ্য ছিলো তাদেরকে দিয়ে বিষয়টির অনুশীলন করানো। যেমন এক সাহাবি এসে নবী করিম (সা.) এর নিকট স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা জানতে চাইলেন। সেখানে হজরত আবু বকর (রা.) উপস্থিত ছিলেন। হজরত আবু বকর (রা.) উত্তর দেয়ার জন্য অনুমতি চাইলেন। রাসূল (সা.) তাকে অনুমতি দিলেন। ব্যাখ্যা দেয়ার পর আবু বকর (রা.) রাসূল (সা.)-কে বলেন, হে রাসূল! আমার ব্যাখ্যা ঠিক হয়েছে? রাসূল (সা.) বলেন, ‘কিছু ঠিক হয়েছে আর কিছু ভুল’। (সহিহ বুখারি)। এরকমভাবে রাসূল (সা.) এর কাছে যেসব মামলা আসতো, কখনো কখনো তিনি ছাত্রদের দ্বারা ফয়সালা করাতেন। উদ্দেশ্য থাকতো তাদেরকে এ ব্যাপারে প্রশিক্ষণ দেয়া।
সফলদের প্রশংসা করা:
কখনো কখনো রাসূল (সা.) সাহাবাদের পরীক্ষা নিতেন। কোনো একটি বিষয়ে প্রশ্ন করে মেধা ও জ্ঞান যাচাই করতেন। কেউ সঠিক উত্তর দিলে তিনি তার প্রশংসা করতেন, বুকে হাত মেরে ‘শাবাশ!’ বলতেন। এর দ্বারা তিনি তার সঠিক উত্তরের সম্মাননা দিতেন। এবং বুঝাতেন যে, সঠিক উত্তর দ্বারা সে রাসূল (সা.) এর ভালোবাসার পাত্রে পরিণত হয়েছে। যেমন হযরত উবাই ইবনে কা’বকে রাসূল (সা.) জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আল কোরআনে কোন আয়াতটি সবচেয়ে ফজিলতপূর্ণ? প্রথমে তিনি বলেন, এ ব্যাপারে আল্লাহর রাসূল ভালো জানেন। রাসূল (সা.) পুনরায় তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলে, তিনি বলেন ‘আয়াতুল কুরসি’। তখন রাসূল (সা.) তার বুকে হাত রেখে বলেন, ‘শাবাশ!’। আল্লাহ তায়ালা তোমার জন্য ইলম অর্জন সহজ করুন।’ (সহিহ মুসলিম)
কখনো কখনো রাগ করা:
রাসূল (সা.) যেমন স্নেহশীল ও দয়ালু ছিলেন তেমনি তিনি কখনো ছাত্রদের প্রতি রাগ করতেন। যেমন একবার তিনি বের হয়ে দেখেন সাহাবারা তাকদির নিয়ে তর্ক করছে। তখন তিনি খুব রাগান্বিত হয়ে বলেন, তোমাদেরকে এজন্য দুনিয়াতে পাঠানো হয়েছে?
মোটকথা, রাসূল (সা.) ছিলেন, একজন আদর্শ শিক্ষক। ছাত্রদের প্রতি স্নেহ-ভালোবাসার পাশাপাশি তিনি তাদেরকে আদব শিখাতেন। এ জন্য কখনো রাগ করতেন। তাঁর শিক্ষা হতো ব্যাপক বিষয়ে। আধুনিক শিক্ষাপদ্ধতির বিষয়গুলোও তাঁর শিক্ষাদানে ছিলো।
শাস্তিদানের মাধ্যমে সংশোধন :
গুরুতর অপরাধের জন্য রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) কখনো তার শিষ্য ও শিক্ষার্থীদের শাস্তি প্রদান করে সংশোধন করতেন। তবে রাসূল (সা.) অধিকাংশ সময় শারীরিক শাস্তি এড়িয়ে যেতেন। ভিন্ন পন্থা অবলম্বন করতেন। যেমন উপযুক্ত কারণ ব্যতীত তাবুক যুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ না করায় হজরত কাব ইবনে মালেক (রা.) সহ কয়েকজনের সঙ্গে রাসূল (সা.) কথা বলা বন্ধ করে দেন। যা শারীরিক শাস্তির তুলনায় অনেক বেশি ফলপ্রসূ ছিলো।
রাসূল (সা.)-এর শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতির সামান্য কিছু দৃষ্টান্ত এখানে তুলে ধরা হলো। এ বিষয়ে প্রাজ্ঞ পণ্ডিতদের দীর্ঘ কলেবরের স্বতন্ত্র বই রয়েছে।
শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতিতে রাসূল (সা.)-এর সাফল্য সম্পর্কে ধারণা পাওয়া যায় পবিত্র কোরআনের একটি আয়াত থেকে। তাহলো, ‘স্মরণ করো! তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ। যখন তোমরা ছিলে পরস্পরের শত্রু। অতপর আল্লাহতায়ালা তোমাদের অন্তরে ভালোবাসা সঞ্চার করলেন। তার অনুগ্রহে তোমরা ভাই ভাইয়ে পরিণত হলে। প্রকৃতার্থে তোমরা অবস্থান করছিলে অগ্নিকুণ্ডের প্রান্ত সীমায়। অতপর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সেখান থেকে উদ্ধার করলেন। এভাবে আল্লাহতায়ালা তোমাদের জন্য তার নিদর্শন স্পষ্ট করে বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা সঠিক পথের সন্ধান পাও। -সূরা আল ইমরান : ১০৩
অর্থাৎ রাসূল (সা.) পতন্মুখ একটি জাতিকে তার কার্যকর শিক্ষাব্যবস্থার মাধ্যমে পৃথিবীর নেতৃত্বের আসনে সমাসীন করান। তার শিক্ষা ও সাফল্য শুধু ইহকালীন সাফল্য বয়ে আনেনি; বরং তার পরিব্যপ্তি ছিলো পরকালীন জীবন পর্যন্ত। সুতরাং মুসলিম উম্মাহকে যদি তার হারানো ঐতিহ্য ফিরে পেতে হয় এবং উভয় জগতের সাফল্য অর্জন করতে হয়, তবে অবশ্যই রাসূল (সা.)-এর শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করতে হবে।
রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রম ও বর্তমান শিক্ষাক্রমের একটি তুলনামূলক পর্যালোচনা–
আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ও সাহাবাদের যুগের শিক্ষাক্রম ও শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থার দিকে তাকাই তাহলে ফলাফলের দিক থেকে দেখব যে, তা শতভাগ সফল ও সার্থক। অথচ সে যুগে শিক্ষাপোকরণ ছিল সীমিত এবং প্রযুক্তি ও বিভিন্ন সুযোগ-সুবিধার দিক থেকে তারা ছিল আমাদের চেয়ে অনেক বেশী পিছিয়ে। ফলে স্বভাবতই একটি প্রশ্নের সৃষ্টি হয়, রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের সফল শিক্ষাক্রম ও আমাদের আধুনিক শিক্ষাক্রমের মধ্যে তাহলে পার্থক্যটা কোথায়? সেটা কি শিক্ষার লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য স্থির করার ক্ষেত্রে, নাকি সিলেবাসের ক্ষেত্রে অথবা যারা কারিকুলাম তথা শিক্ষাক্রম প্রণয়ন ও বাস্তবায়ন করেন তাদের ক্ষেত্রে? নাকি পার্থক্য রয়েছে উল্লিখিত প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রেই? হাদীস ও সীরাতের গ্রন্থসমূহ অধ্যয়ন করে দেখা যায় যে, উপরোক্ত তিনটি ক্ষেত্রেই আমাদের বর্তমান শিক্ষাক্রম ও রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রমের মধ্যে পার্থক্য রয়েছে।
প্রথমত: শিক্ষার লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য নির্ধারণের ক্ষেত্রে পার্থক্যঃ
আল-কুরআনে আল্লাহ তা‘আলা মানুষকে দুটি শ্রেণীতে ভাগ করেছেন। প্রথম শ্রেণীর মানুষের মূল লক্ষ্য হলো আখিরাতের সাফল্য অর্জন এবং দুনিয়ায় সেজন্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ। এরা দুনিয়ার কর্তৃত্ব, নেতৃত্ব ও উন্নয়নের জন্য যত কাজই করে সেটি করে আখিরাতের সাফল্য অর্জনের সোপান হিসেবে। শুধু দুনিয়া অর্জনই এদের মূল লক্ষ্য নয়।দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর মানুষ দুনিয়ার ভোগ-বিলাস এবং নেতৃত্ব ও কর্তৃত্ব লাভকেই নিজেদের চূড়ান্ত লক্ষ্য হিসেবে স্থির করে নিয়েছে। আর তা উপার্জনের প্রচেষ্টায় পরিচালিত হয় তাদের জীবনের সকল কর্মকান্ড ও আন্দোলন।
এ দু শ্রেণীর লোকদের প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করে আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীন বলেন,‘‘তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন লোক রয়েছে যারা দুনিয়া চায় এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন লোকও রয়েছে যারা চায় আখিরাত।’’ [সূরা আলে ইমরান: ১৫২]
তিনি আরো বলেন, ‘‘মানুষের মধ্যে এমন লোক রয়েছে যারা বলে, ‘‘হে আমাদের রব! আমাদের দুনিয়ার (প্রভাব-প্রতিপত্তি ও নেতৃত্ব-কর্তৃত্ব) দান করুন।’’ এদের জন্য আখিরাতে কোন অংশই থাকবে না। আর মানুষের মধ্যে এমন অনেক লোকও রয়েছে যারা বলে, ‘‘হে আমাদের রব! আমাদেরকে দুনিয়ার কল্যাণ প্রদান করুন এবং আখিরাতেও কল্যাণ প্রদান করুন। আর জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে আমাদের রক্ষা করুন।’’ এদের জন্য (আখিরাতে) রয়েছে একটা অংশ তারা যা অর্জন করেছে সে জন্য।’’ [সূরা আল-বাকারাহঃ ২০০-২০2]
কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ও তাঁর সাহাবাগণ ছিলেন প্রথম শ্রেণীভূক্ত। কেননা আখিরাতের প্রশ্ন তাঁদের সকলের কাছে এতটাই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ছিল যে, তাঁরা সব সময় এ ভেবেই তটস্থ থাকতেন যে, আখিরাতে কিভাবে আল্লাহর কাছে আমি নাজাত পাব এবং পুরষ্কৃত হব?
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের জীবনের বহু ক্ষেত্রে আমরা এ ব্যাপারটি অত্যন্ত স্পষ্টভাবে উপলব্ধি করি।
জাবের ইবন আব্দুল্লাহ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুর হাদীসে এসেছে, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, ‘‘আমি যদি ফরয সালাতসমূহ আদায় করি, রমদানের সাওম পালন করি, হালালকে হালাল এবং হারামকে হারাম বলি, আর এর অতিরিক্ত আর কোন আমল না করি, তাহলে কি জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারব?’ রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, হ্যাঁ।’’ [সহীহ মুসলিম, হাদীস নং- ১৫] এভাবে দেখা যায় যে, ইসলামের প্রথম প্রজন্ম তথা সাহাবাদের আগ্রহ, কামনা-বাসনা সবই ছিল আখিরাতমুখী। তাঁদের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জিজ্ঞাসা ছিল একটাই, ‘‘কিভাবে জাহান্নাম থেকে নাজাত পাব এবং জান্নাত লাভ করতে পারব?’’ এ জিজ্ঞাসার উত্তরের মধ্যেই নিহিত ছিল তৎকালীন শিক্ষাদান, শেখা ও শিখন ফল তথা রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রমের প্রকৃত অবয়ব।
আল্লাহ তায়ালা যখন আদম আলাইহিস সালামকে জান্নাত থেকে দুনিয়ায় পাঠালেন তখন তাঁকে ও তাঁর পরবর্তী বংশধরকে শিক্ষাক্রমের এমনই দিক নির্দেশনা দিয়ে বলেছিলেন,‘‘আর আমার পক্ষ হতে তোমাদের কাছে হিদায়াত এলে যারা সে হিদায়াতের অনুসরণ করবে তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।’’ [সূরা আল-বাকারাহঃ ৩৮] আয়াতটিতে বলা হয়েছে যে, আল্লাহর আযাব থেকে মুক্তি ও আখিরাতে সফলতার পূর্বশর্ত হলো আল্লাহর হিদায়াতের অনুসরণ। আর হিদায়াত তো শুধু অহীর মাধ্যমে অর্জন করা যায়। অনুরূপভাবে অহীর জ্ঞান ভালভাবে না বুঝলে তা অনুসরণ করা যায় না এবং একমাত্র শিক্ষাদান ও শিক্ষা গ্রহণের মাধ্যমেই সে জ্ঞান মানুষ অনুধাবন করতে পারে। এজন্যই ইসলাম শিক্ষার প্রতি চূড়ান্ত গুরুত্বারোপ করেছে এবং একে ফরয বলে ঘোষণা করেছে। ইসলাম দ্বীন ও দুনিয়ার কল্যাণকর সকল জ্ঞান অর্জনের প্রতিই গুরুত্ব দিয়েছে। ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে দুনিয়া হলো আখিরাতের সফলতা লাভের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেয়ার কর্মক্ষেত্র। সে প্রস্ত্ততি গ্রহণের জন্য আল্লাহর হিদায়াত ও guidance -কে সঠিকভাবে বোঝা, উপলদ্ধি করা ও আমল করার মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জন এবং দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতের কল্যাণ সাধন রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রমের প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য ছিল। আমাদের দেশের প্রচলিত শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় দু’টি ধারা বহমান। একটি হলো সাধারণ শিক্ষা ও অপরটি হলো মাদরাসা শিক্ষা। সাধারণ শিক্ষাক্রমের মূল লক্ষ্য স্থির করা হয়েছে সকল প্রকার জাগতিক উন্নতি সাধন। এ লক্ষ্যেই বার বার ঢেলে সাজানো হয়েছে আমাদের সকল স্ত্তরের শিক্ষাক্রমকে এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সমূহেও খোলা হয়েছে আধূনিক সব বিষয়। পার্থিব উন্নয়নে সরাসরি অবদান রাখছে না বলে ধর্মীয়, বিশেষ করে ইসলাম শিক্ষাকে ধীরে ধীরে সাধারণ শিক্ষাক্রম থেকে বিলুপ্ত করার চেষ্টা চলছে। এ Common objective -এর পাশাপাশি আমরা দেখি যে, দেশের শাসকশ্রণী, কর্তৃত্বলোভী বহিঃশক্তি, রাজনৈতিক দলসমূহ, এনজিওসমূহ, পরিবার, শিক্ষক ও ছাত্র প্রত্যেকেরই শিক্ষা বিষয়ে নিজ নিজ বিশেষ লক্ষ্য রয়েছে। বিদেশী শক্তি আমাদের শিক্ষাক্রমে তার সংস্কৃতি চাপিয়ে দেয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। শাসক শ্রেণী তথাকথিত ‘‘সৎ নাগরিক’’ গড়ে তোলার উদ্দেশ্যে শিক্ষাক্রমকে নিজেদের মনমত সাজিয়ে নিচ্ছে, রাজনৈতিক দলসমূহ নিজেদের চিন্তা-চেতনা ও আদর্শকে প্রচার করার জন্য শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রকে উপযোগী ময়দান হিসেবে গ্রহণ করছে, শিক্ষকগণ একে অর্থোপর্জনের হাতিয়ার মনে করছেন, পরিবার শিক্ষাকে তার সন্তানের ভবিষ্যতের গ্যারান্টি মনে করছে এবং শিক্ষা লাভ করে একজন ছাত্র ভাল কোন পদে চাকরি করাকেই লক্ষ্য হিসেবে স্থির করছে।
মাদরাসার শিক্ষার মূল উদ্দেশ্য যদিও ইসলামী চিন্তা-চেতনাসম্পন্ন মানুষ গড়ে তোলা, কিন্তু সেখানে পার্থিব শিক্ষার সাথে যথেষ্ট সমন্বয়ের অভাব রয়েছে। মাদরাসাসমূহ সত্যিকার ভাল আলেম ও ‘ইনসান কামেল’ উপহার দিতে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছে বলে এ ধারণা যে কারো জন্মাতে পারে যে, শিক্ষার এ ধারায় সুনির্দিষ্ট লক্ষ্য স্থির করে রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের অনুসরণে আধুনিক যুগোপযোগী শিক্ষাক্রম আজো তৈরি করা হয়নি।
লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণের ক্ষেত্রে আমাদের শিক্ষাক্রম ও রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রমের মধ্যে পার্থক্য উপরোক্ত আলোচনায় স্পষ্ট হয়ে উঠেছে।
দ্বিতীয়ত: শিক্ষার Contents ও সিলেবাসের পার্থক্য:
রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় শিক্ষার উপকরণ ও বিষয়সমূহ এতটাই সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ ছিল যে, তাতে উম্মাহর পরিচয় বিশ্ববাসীর সামনে ফুটে উঠত, উম্মাহর স্বাতন্ত্র্যবোধ ও আত্মমর্যাদা প্রকাশ পেত এবং সে শিক্ষা মুসলিম-অমুসলিম জগতের সকল মানুষের খেদমত ও কল্যাণ সাধন করত। রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষালয়ে তাঁর সাহাবা ছাত্রগণ ধর্মীয় প্রকৃত শিক্ষা যেমন অর্জন করতেন, তেমনি সে যুগের উপযোগী সকল প্রয়োজনীয় জ্ঞানও তাঁরা লাভ করতেন। এ শিক্ষালয় থেকে যেমন তৈরি হয়েছিল ইবনু আববাস রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুর মতো মুফাসসির, ইবনু মাসউদ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুর মতো ফকীহ, আবু হুরাইরা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুর মতো মুহাদ্দিস এবং এরকম আরো হাজার হাজার ব্যক্তিত্ব, তেমনি এ শিক্ষালয় থেকে তৈরি হতে দেখেছি বহু সফল সেনাপতি, সৈনিক, প্রশাসনিক কর্মকর্তা, অর্থনীতিবিদ প্রমুখ।রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের শিক্ষাক্রমের যে সিলেবাস ছিল, তা এতই সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ ছিল যে, তাঁর শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিতরা কখনো পরষ্পরের প্রতি কাদা ছোঁড়ছুড়িতে লিপ্ত হত না, বরং তা ছিল এক ধারার শিক্ষা – পার্থিবতা ও পরলৌকিকতার সমন্বয়ে গড়া একমুখী শিক্ষা।
আমাদের বর্তমান শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় আমরা দ্বিমুখী শিক্ষার অস্তিত্ব দেখতে পাই। শিক্ষার contents ও সিলেবাসের বিভিন্নতায় আমাদের দেশের সাধারণ শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় একদল গড়ে উঠছে নাস্তিকরূপে, আরেক দল গড়ে উঠছে ধর্মনিরপেক্ষরূপে এবং সত্যিকার ধার্মিক মুসলিমরূপে গড়ে উঠছে খুবই কম। পারিবারিক শিক্ষার ছোঁয়ায় অনেকে হয়ত ইসলামী কিছু আকীদা ও নিয়ম-কানুন রপ্ত করেছেন। কিন্তু সাধারণ শিক্ষাক্রমের সর্বস্তরে ইসলামের মৌলিক বিষয়গুলো আজ আর শেখার উপায় নেই।
মাদরাসা শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিতরা যদিও সবাই ইসলামী হয়েই গড়ে উঠার কথা, কিন্তু দেখা যায় এখানকার সিলেবাসে এমন কিছু রয়েছে যা সঠিক আকীদার জ্ঞানের দিকে পরিচালিত করে না। আবার প্রয়োজনীয় এমন অনেক কিছুর ঘাটতি রয়েছে যা সিলেবাসভূক্ত হলে ইসলাম সম্পর্কে সঠিক ধারণা পাওয়া যেত। পাশাপাশি সাধারণ বিষয়গুলো এখানে ব্যাপকভাবে উন্নত করা প্রয়োজন।
তৃতীয়ত : শিক্ষাক্রম প্রণয়ন ও বাস্তবায়নকারী এবং শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের মানগত পার্থক্য
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় শিক্ষাক্রম প্রণয়নকারী, বাস্তবায়নকারী ও শিক্ষক ছিলেন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম স্বয়ং। একটি হাদীসে তিনি বলেছেন,
‘‘আমাকে আল্লাহ শুধু শিক্ষক হিসাবেই প্রেরণ করেছেন।’’ [সহীহ মুসলিম, হাদীস নং ৩৭৬৩ ]তিনি এমনই শিক্ষক ছিলেন যিনি আল্লাহর রাসূল, যাঁর কাছে অহীর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসত অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ তাঁকে সরাসরি গাইড করতেন। চারিত্রিক সততায় তিনি ছিলেন চলন্ত কুরআন। তাঁকে দেখেই শেখা যেত অনেক কিছু, তা সত্ত্বেও তিনি তাঁর বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমে তাঁর শিক্ষার্থীদের শেখাতেন প্রয়োজনীয় আকীদা, আমল এবং ব্যক্তি, সমাজ ও রাষ্ট্র উন্নয়নের পদ্ধতি। সর্বোপরি এ শিক্ষাক্রমের শিক্ষক হিসাবে তিনি ছিলেন জগতের সর্বকালের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ ব্যক্তিত্ব।
অন্যদিকে আমাদের যারা শিক্ষকবৃন্দ তারা সাধারণ মানুষ, যাদের রয়েছে অনেক জ্ঞানের ঘাটতি ও গুণের অভাব। তদুপরি বর্তমান সামাজিক প্রেক্ষাপটে তাদের অনেকেরই আজ আর বিবেকের তাড়না নেই, হৃদয়ের প্রশস্ততা নেই, শিক্ষকতার দায়িত্ব যথার্থভাবে পালনের উন্নতবোধ নেই। রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামের বিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র ছিলেন তাঁরই সহচরবৃন্দ সাহাবাগণ, যারা এ উম্মতের জন্য অনুকরণীয় আদর্শ, উম্মতের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ প্রজন্ম, যারা রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে শিক্ষা গ্রহণের জন্য ও ব্যবহারিক জীবনে মানবতার কল্যাণে তা বাসত্মবায়ন করার জন্য ছিলেন সদা উন্মুখ। সেজন্য আল্লাহ তাদের প্রশংসায় বলেছেন,‘‘আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন এবং তারাও আল্লাহর প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন।’’ (সূরা আত-তাওবাহঃ ১০০)আর আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহের যারা ছাত্র তাদের কতজন আদর্শ শিক্ষার্থীর গুণে গুণান্বিত তা রীতিমত গবেষণা করেই বের করতে হবে। জ্ঞান অন্বেষণ, চারিত্রিক মাধুর্য ও নৈতিকতা অর্জণ এবং ধর্মীয় আকীদা ও মূল্যবোধ লালন করা আজ তাদের অধিকাংশের শিক্ষা জীবনের মূল লক্ষ্য নয়, বরং পরীক্ষায় ভালভাবে উত্তীর্ণ হওয়া, সার্টিফিকেট লাভ করা ও ভাল চাকুরী করা তাদের প্রধানতম উদ্দেশ্য।রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর শিক্ষাক্রম ও আমাদের বর্তমান শিক্ষাক্রমের মধ্যে উপরোক্ত তিনটি ক্ষেত্রের পার্থক্যগুলো অনুধাবন করলে সহজেই বুঝা যাবে যে, আমাদের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা আধুনিক যাবতীয় সুযোগ-সুবিধা পাওয়া সত্ত্বেও রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থার তুলনায় সত্যিকার ‘ইনসাফ কামিল’ তৈরিতে তেমন সফলকাম হতে পারেনি।
নিচে শিক্ষাক্রমের ব্যর্থতার কারণগুলো উল্লেখ করে রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর শিক্ষাক্রমের সাফল্যের কারণগুলো উল্লেখ করছি। আশা করি এতে আমাদের অনেক শিক্ষণীয় বিষয় রয়েছে।
আমাদের শিক্ষাক্রমের ব্যর্থতার কারণঃ
১. উম্মাহর পরিচয়বাহী শিক্ষাক্রমের সঠিক লক্ষ্য স্থির করার অভাব।
২. শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রে রাজনীতির কাল থাবা সম্প্রাসরণ এবং কলুষিত রাজনীতি দ্বারা শিক্ষাকেও কলুষিত করার অপচেষ্টা। এর ফলে আমাদের শিক্ষা খাতে নিমণবর্ণিত বিপর্যয় ঘটে গেছেঃ
ক. শিক্ষাক্রমকে রাজনৈতিক নেতাদের Ideology অনুযায়ী ঢেলে সাজানো হয়েছে, যা উম্মাহের আশা-আকাঙ্খা ও পরিচয়ের প্রতিফলন বহন করে না।

৩. বিদেশী ঔপনিবেশিক দেশসমূহকে আমাদের শিক্ষাক্রমে হাত লাগানোর সুযোগ করে দেয়া হয়েছে এবং তাদের মানসিক সেবাদাস তৈরি করার মতো শিক্ষাক্রম তৈরি করা হচ্ছে।
৪. নিছক বৈষয়িক কারণেই শুধু শিক্ষা অর্জন করা। ফলে শিক্ষা মানুষকে অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই পশুতে পরিণত করছে।
৫. মুসলিম হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে সাংস্কৃতিক ও আকীদাগত বিভেদ-বৈষম্য সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে বর্তমান শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায়।

১. এ শিক্ষাক্রমের সুস্পষ্ট লক্ষ্য স্থির করা হয়েছিল, যা ছিল মহান, শ্রেষ্ঠ ও কল্যাণকামী।
২. শিক্ষা ছিল সুনির্দিষ্ট বৈশিষ্ট্যমন্ডিত, তা হচ্ছে দ্বীন ও দুনিয়া উভয় জগতে সমগ্র মানবতার কল্যাণ সাধন।
৩. শিক্ষকের নিষ্ঠা, ইখলাস ও জ্ঞান ও শিক্ষার প্রতি তার বিনয় এবং শিক্ষাদানকে মহান আল্লাহর ইবাদাত হিসেবে গ্রহণ করা।
৪. উম্মতের বৈশিষ্ট্য ও পরিচয়ের সাথে শিখন বিষয়সমূহ ও Contents-এর সমন্বয় ও সঙ্গতি সাধন।
৫. শিক্ষাক্রমের সাথে জড়িত সকলের সাংস্কৃতিক ও আকীদাগত অভিন্নতা।
৬. জ্ঞানসমৃদ্ধ স্বাধীন বিবেকবান সত্তা ও জাতিরূপে গড়ে তোলার নিরমত্মর চেষ্টা ও সাধনা।
